CURATIONS

Spaces are curated where art, society and collective action intersect. Working with simultaneities and complexities are embraced to create connections rather than simple polarities.

The practice is political: questioning structures, making solidarity visible or shaping cultural landscapes together.

BUNDESTREFFEN25 // Working Session
  • As part of BUNDESTREFFEN25, curated by the Fonds Darstellende Künste, I created a program line that opened an exchange format about how we stay effective in these unstable times. I wanted to offer a space where people from the arts, cultural policy and civil society could really listen to each other - beyond exhaustion and symbolic debates. It became a place to share knowledge, rethink our possibilities for action and look together for ways of working that support us instead of overwhelming us.

    INVITED IMPULSES:
Dandan Liu, Diana Weser, Dorothea Marcus, wir-vier-Kollektiv u.a.

FAVORITEN // Co-Curation
  • Together with Johanna Yasirra Kluhs, I curated FAVORITEN 2014 as a temporary artist house in an empty museum - a space for encounter, experimentation and shared responsibility. Over 1.5 years of curatorial work, we mapped the independent scene, tracing networks, practices and emerging voices that sustain it. The festival became a living space of solidarity, where artists could meet, share resources, and build alliances. Only through such mutual support can art truly emerge and thrive.

Riepe, Bianca Mendoza, body talk, copy & waste, David Rauer, Drama Köln, Heine Avdal & Yukiko Shinozaki, Jens Heitjohann, kahnkollektiv & OTHNI, Kreidler, Lukas und, Martina Gimplinger, Mouvoir / Stephanie Thiersch, Naoko Tanaka, SEE!, subbotnik, Unusual Symptoms/Andy Zondag, Vorschlag:hammer, Wolfgang Kienast, Yoshie Shibahara u.a.
